How to Post Your Events    [ calendars | F.A.Q. ]

1) Self-Service - It's easy, and it's 100% free!
  1. Register with Google Calendars.
  2. Send us an email requesting posting access the calendar(s) of your choice.

I will add you as a user to the calendars you requested. You will receive an email notice that you've been invited to join the calendars. When you log in to your Google Calendar account, you'll have access to add and edit events on the calendars.

PLEASE NOTE the following 3 SIMPLE RULES

  1. Post EVENTS only -- (no ads for services, no spam).
  2. Do NOT alter events placed by other users.
  3. Help keep the calendars simple and clean.

    For example...
    • Put a rock music event on the Rock Music calendar ONLY.
    • Put a reiki event on the Light Workers calendar ONLY.
    • Put an art opening with live music on BOTH art and music calendars.
    • Put an ayurvedic book signing event on BOTH book events and ayurveda calendars.

2) Full-Service - Optional

LocalEventList.com is intended to be a free community service, but you must post your own events. If you prefer, you can send me your event details, and I'll post your event for you. I will charge a small fee.

Full-Service Event Posting Instructions

  1. Send your event details by email
  2. Send a payment equal to $3.00 per listing:

Full-Service FEE SCHEDULE

  • Each separate event is $3
  • If you have an event that repeats every Monday -- the one-time fee is $3 to post the event without changes.
  • If your event repeats on the 1st Friday of the month -- same as above, the one-time fee is only $3.
  • If your event repeats on the last Friday of the month, I'll have to enter the event separately for each month
    (due to limitations with Google); therefore, the fee will be $3 per individual listing.
  • Changes to an event will be $3 per listing (same deal as the original listing fee).
